Kalmar wins first order for a customised heavy material handling training simulator from SSAB Oxelösund.

Kalmar Corporation has secured its first order for a customised training simulator designed for heavy material handling from SSAB Special Steels Oxelösund in Sweden. The simulator will help train operators to safely and efficiently handle containers, plates, and the Kalmar Super Gloria reachstacker, improving safety and productivity. This order, booked in Q2 2026, will be delivered in Q4 2026 and strengthens the long-standing partnership between Kalmar and SSAB, who already operate a large fleet of Kalmar machines. The simulator provides a risk-free environment for operator training, supporting SSAB's priority on safety and skill development.
