Meanwhile, JetBlue and other airlines have increased their presence at Fort Lauderdale, capitalizing on Spirit's reduced capacity. JetBlue's president highlighted that the airline has doubled the size of its next biggest competitor at the airport and remains confident in its revenue performance despite added capacity.
