IREN Limited has finalized its acquisition of Mirantis, a cloud software provider, by issuing shares and paying approximately $40 million. This move enhances IREN's AI cloud platform by integrating Mirantis' software expertise with IREN's data centers and compute resources, enabling better AI workload management and support. The acquisition supports IREN's strategy to serve a broad customer base including hyperscalers and enterprises, and strengthens its position in the AI cloud market. Mirantis will continue developing its open-source k0rdent AI platform under IREN's ownership.
