Institutional investors have sold $1.67 billion in Bitcoin and other crypto assets in the past week, marking the third consecutive week of outflows and the second-largest weekly outflow this year. Bitcoin led the sell-off with $1.438 billion withdrawn, followed by Ethereum with $257 million in outflows. Most redemptions came from US products, with smaller amounts from Germany, Sweden, and Hong Kong. The total assets under management dropped to $141 billion, the lowest since early April, reflecting increased risk aversion amid geopolitical tensions involving Iran despite some regulatory progress in the US. Year-to-date Bitcoin inflows have slowed significantly, and altcoin inflows are limited to a few assets like XRP and Hyperliquid.
