Health Net, part of Centene Corporation, announced a $10 million investment to expand the Community Care Campus in Long Beach, a facility providing integrated healthcare and housing support for homeless individuals. The funding includes $5 million from the Centene Foundation for facility upgrades and $5 million from Health Net for tenant improvements and new care programs, including a Children & Families Recuperative Care program. This expansion aims to improve health outcomes and housing stability, serving thousands annually with coordinated medical and social services. Construction will complete by September 2027, enhancing accessibility and safety while maintaining ongoing services.
