Infoblox and GoDaddy back open DNS standards for AI agent discovery and verification on the web

Infoblox and GoDaddy announced support for open standards using DNS infrastructure to enable AI agents to identify, discover, and verify each other across the open web. Infoblox is advancing DNS for AI Discovery (DNS-AID) for agent discovery, while GoDaddy is developing Agent Name Service (ANS) for agent identity and verification. These complementary standards aim to prevent centralized control, promote interoperability, and leverage existing internet infrastructure for secure AI interactions. The companies invite industry collaboration to build a federated, open agentic internet.
