Illumina has introduced the StrataMap Spatial Solution, a new sequencing-based tool that offers high-resolution, whole-transcriptome profiling at single-cell level across large tissue areas. This technology enhances researchers' ability to study tissue structure, function, tumor progression, and drug target discovery, particularly benefiting fields like developmental biology, neuroscience, and oncology. StrataMap Spatial provides twice the unique gene detection per sample compared to previous probe-based methods, enabling more detailed and unbiased spatial biology insights.
