Humanity Protocol announced a recovery plan following a June 8 hack that forced it to pause its old H token. The project will airdrop new H tokens at a 1:1 ratio to eligible holders based on a snapshot taken just before the attack across Ethereum, BSC, and Humanity Mainnet. Attacker-linked addresses identified by Quantstamp are excluded, and old tokens are fully replaced with a new audited ERC-20 contract. A compensation fund is set up to cover complex cases, including post-snapshot buyers after identity verification, with AML compliance due to links to DPRK-affiliated actors. The project plans to relaunch Humanity Mainnet soon and is coordinating with exchanges and partners for a smooth migration.
