HP introduced HP TPM Guard, the first hardware solution to prevent physical TPM bus attacks that can bypass BitLocker encryption on business notebooks. This innovation encrypts the communication between the TPM chip and CPU, closing a known security gap without adding IT complexity. HP also enhanced its Wolf Security PC portfolio and launched quantum-resistant security features for its LaserJet printers, addressing future cyber threats including those from quantum computing. HP TPM Guard will be available from July 2026 on select commercial PCs at no extra cost, targeting enterprises and governments handling sensitive data.
