HIVE Digital Technologies' subsidiary BUZZ HPC is upgrading its Grand Falls Data Centre in New Brunswick with a new fibre optic network and carrier transport upgrade to develop it into a Tier III high-performance computing facility. The $3.1 million investment over five years, funded by recent exchangeable notes, aims to support enterprise, government, and sovereign AI workloads with enhanced connectivity including 100 Gbps and 400 Gbps links. HIVE plans to double its GPU AI cloud capacity to 11,000 GPUs and expand HPC colocation by 50 MW at the site. The company also received approval to list on the Toronto Stock Exchange starting May 12, 2026, after raising C$56.5 million through a recent equity program.
