Headwater Gold's 2025-2026 drilling at the Lodestar project in Nevada identified a new Meridian Zone, a large area with strong illite-pyrite alteration and anomalous gold, arsenic, and mercury. The zone is open in multiple directions and shows increasing alteration intensity to the east, suggesting the core hydrothermal system remains untested. Follow-up induced polarization (IP) geophysics are planned to refine drill targets, with permits already in place for immediate follow-up drilling. This discovery enhances the project's potential, supported by Newmont's funding under an earn-in agreement.
