Great Plains Communications (GPC) has agreed to acquire Fastwyre Broadband's Nebraska operations, serving over two dozen communities. This strategic move expands GPC's fiber network, offering enhanced service options and future upgrades to Fastwyre customers. The acquisition strengthens GPC's presence in Nebraska, leveraging its 20,000+ mile MEF-certified fiber network and local support teams. Following regulatory approval, the transition will be seamless, with plans for network investments to boost both residential and business connectivity in the region.
