
Geronimo Power has launched commercial operations at the Dodson Creek Solar Project in Highland County, Ohio, which will provide 117 MW of clean energy within the PJM market. The project is expected to generate $49 million in direct economic benefits for the local community and create around $21 million in tax revenue over 20 years. It employed 125 workers during construction and uses First Solar's Series 7 modules, supporting local manufacturing. Geronimo also pledged $585,000 to local charities, emphasizing its commitment to community development alongside expanding Ohio's renewable energy portfolio to 675 MW.
