Genmab announced positive Phase 2 and Phase 1b/2 trial results for epcoritamab, a T-cell engaging antibody, in elderly patients with newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) who are ineligible for standard chemotherapy. The Phase 2 trial showed a 67% overall response rate with epcoritamab monotherapy, while the Phase 1b/2 trial combining epcoritamab with R-mini-CHOP chemotherapy showed a 93% response rate. These treatments demonstrated durable remissions, high minimal residual disease negativity, and manageable safety profiles, offering promising new options for elderly patients with limited treatment choices. The data were presented at the 2026 European Hematology Association Congress and support further development of epcoritamab in this patient population.
