This integration lowers barriers for users, enhances KAS circulation, and supports the growth of DeFi applications on Kaspa by adding Ethereum-style smart contract capabilities to Kaspa's high-throughput BlockDAG chain. Kasplex uses KAS as its sole gas token to maintain economic alignment within the Kaspa ecosystem, aiming to unlock DeFi, NFTs, and other decentralized applications.
