Ford Motor Company has recalled over 254,000 SUVs including 2022-2025 Lincoln Navigator, 2025 Aviator, 2024-2025 Nautilus, and 2025 Explorer models due to a software defect in the Image Processing Module A (IPMA). This defect can cause the rearview camera to lose its image and disrupt advanced driver-assistance systems like pre-collision assist, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring. Ford will fix the issue free of charge via dealer updates or over-the-air software updates. This recall adds to Ford's ongoing quality control challenges, with nearly all its vehicles except the discontinued Ford GT having recalls since 2020.
