FMC Corporation has agreed to sell its India crop protection commercial business to Crystal Crop Protection Limited for $252 million, aiming to refocus resources on higher-growth global opportunities. The deal includes a license for FMC's brands in India and a supply agreement for active ingredients, with the transaction expected to close by the end of 2026 pending regulatory approval. FMC will continue to operate the business until closing and plans to use the sale proceeds to reduce debt. Crystal Crop Protection aims to enhance innovation and expand access to FMC's products for Indian farmers through this acquisition.
