FMC's new herbicide Isoflex® active gets EU approval, boosting crop protection options for 2027 launch.

FMC Corporation announced that its herbicide active ingredient, Isoflex® active (bixlozone), has received regulatory approval in the European Union. This approval allows FMC to introduce products using Isoflex® active across over 55 million hectares of key crops like cereals, corn, oilseed rape, and potatoes starting in 2027. Isoflex® active offers a new mode of action to control resistant weeds, addressing a significant gap in EU agriculture since 2019. The product has already been successfully launched in several countries globally, and FMC continues to research additional crop uses.
