Evernorth launches AI-powered Pharmacy Forward to speed and personalize specialty care for patients.

Evernorth, part of The Cigna Group, introduced Pharmacy Forward, an AI-driven program aimed at enhancing specialty pharmacy services through faster prescription processing, personalized patient support, and improved medication adherence. The program, starting with Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, is backed by a $100 million investment through 2028 and uses AI to reduce clinician documentation time, accelerate therapy start times, and optimize medication delivery logistics. This initiative is expected to generate $400 million in value by 2028 and improve care for over one million patients annually, with plans to expand these capabilities across other Evernorth pharmacies.
