This partnership enables Ethena’s yield-bearing assets to support Robinhood's decentralized lending product, Robinhood Earn, which offers users around 7% annual yield by lending USDG stablecoins via self-custody wallets within the Robinhood app. The lending system operates on the Morpho protocol with Robinhood Chain as the settlement layer, backed by insurance policies covering cyber and smart contract risks. This integration is part of Robinhood’s broader strategy to expand decentralized finance tools and tokenized assets on its platform, following previous launches of tokenized US equities and wallet services.
