Empire Metals announced that initial assays from its largest drilling campaign at the Pitfield titanium project in Western Australia have confirmed and expanded a high-grade titanium core at the Thomas prospect. The campaign included 712 drill holes totaling 34,844 meters, with results showing multiple thick, near-surface titanium intercepts above 7% TiO₂, including intervals of up to 54 meters at 7.08% TiO₂ from surface. Managing director Shaun Bunn described the results as a "defining moment" for the project, highlighting the continuous, near-surface high-grade core within a large titanium system. Over 17,000 samples are being analyzed to support an updated mineral resource estimate expected in Q3 2026.
