Emerson launches Ovation AI Agents to speed up and improve power and water plant operations.

Emerson introduced five new Ovation AI Agents integrated with its Ovation Automation Platform 4.0 to enhance power and water plant operations. These agents—Sequence Assistant, Alarm Insight, Predictive Maintenance, Root Cause, and Loop Performance Monitor—provide real-time insights and recommendations directly within operators' workflows, drastically reducing diagnostic times from hours to minutes. Designed to work proactively in the background with human oversight, they help operators shift from reactive to proactive management, improving efficiency and preventing unplanned downtime. The agents will roll out starting this fall, with plans for many more to expand AI-driven optimization in the industry.
