Ecopetrol reached a final six-year collective bargaining agreement with the Oil Workers Union (USO) effective January 1, 2026, after over 990 negotiation sessions. The agreement includes improvements in working conditions, health and education benefits, and initiatives on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ecopetrol also finalized 66 agreements with other unions, aiming to enhance employee well-being and align with company values of efficiency and cost discipline.
