Digital Realty is entering the Milan market with the acquisition of two land parcels to develop a new data center campus, complementing its ongoing project in Rome. The Milan campus, planned to start with an 8 MW facility by 2028 and expandable to 84 MW, will enhance connectivity and support growing demand for cloud and AI services in Northern Italy. This expansion strengthens Digital Realty's position as Italy's leading digital infrastructure provider, connecting key Mediterranean hubs and supporting the region's digital transformation. The dual presence in Milan and Rome positions the company uniquely in Italy's top connectivity markets.
