Digi Power X lands $1.1B AI data center deal with Cerebras Systems in Alabama

Digi Power X Inc has signed a $1.1 billion Master Services Agreement with AI chip maker Cerebras Systems to build a 40-megawatt AI data center campus in Columbiana, Alabama. The contract spans an initial 10-year term with potential total value up to $2.5 billion including renewals and expansion options. Construction starts immediately with Phase 1 (15 MW) targeted for mid-December 2026 completion and full facility operation by Q1 2027. This deal marks a major milestone for Digi Power X, positioning it as a key player in AI infrastructure development.
