Desert Gold Ventures is progressing development at its Barani East gravity plant in Mali, clearing 52,000 sqm for construction and advancing water supply drilling. The 200 tonne-per-day gravity processing plant has passed technical inspection in China and is en route to Dakar, with site delivery expected by late June 2026 and commissioning targeted for mid-July. This plant is part of a modular development strategy with an after-tax NPV of US$61 million and IRR of 57%, aiming to reduce execution risk and move toward gold production. The company cautions that technical and economic uncertainties remain before defining Mineral Reserves.
