Adagene's Phase 1b/2 study reveals that muzastotug combined with KEYTRUDA achieved a 31% overall response rate at the higher 20 mg/kg dose in late-line microsatellite stable colorectal cancer patients without liver metastases, outperforming the 13% response at 10 mg/kg. The higher dose also showed longer progression-free survival (6.7 months vs. 4.8 months) and an 80.8% one-year survival rate. Safety data indicate manageable side effects with low discontinuation rates. A randomized Phase 2 trial is ongoing, with results expected in the first half of 2027, supported by FDA Fast Track designation for this treatment combination.
