BioNTech and Bristol Myers Squibb announced encouraging interim Phase 2 results for pumitamig, a PD-L1xVEGF-A bispecific immunomodulator, combined with chemotherapy in untreated advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The ROSETTA Lung-02 trial showed high confirmed objective response rates across non-squamous and squamous NSCLC subtypes and all PD-L1 expression levels, with a manageable safety profile. Pumitamig is advancing in multiple global Phase 3 trials aiming to improve outcomes for a broad range of NSCLC patients. These results highlight pumitamig's potential to become a new standard of care in NSCLC treatment.
