TransCon PTH shows sustained efficacy and safety in hypoparathyroidism over 3.5 years

Ascendis Pharma announced that its Phase 3 PaTHway Trial data show TransCon PTH maintains long-term efficacy and safety in adults with hypoparathyroidism over 182 weeks. The treatment replicated natural parathyroid hormone effects, improving quality of life and normalizing calcium and kidney function while reducing dependence on conventional therapies. 86% of patients met key treatment goals, and 89% completed the trial, with no new safety concerns. These results support TransCon PTH as a durable treatment option for this chronic condition.
