Cytokinetics presented new data at ESC Heart Failure 2026 showing MYQORZO (aficamten) significantly improves exercise capacity and heart function in patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM) compared to metoprolol. Long-term studies confirm MYQORZO's safety, with no increase in arrhythmias over 96 weeks. Additional findings highlight MYQORZO's benefits on left atrial remodeling and consistent efficacy across patient subgroups, including women and pediatric patients. These results support MYQORZO as a promising treatment addressing the underlying disease mechanisms of oHCM, with ongoing trials expanding its use.
