MYQORZO® (aficamten) launches in Germany to treat obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, following EU approval.

Cytokinetics has launched MYQORZO® (aficamten) in Germany for treating symptomatic obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM) in adults, following its approval by the European Commission in February 2026. The drug, which inhibits cardiac myosin to reduce heart muscle obstruction, showed strong results in the Phase 3 SEQUOIA-HCM trial, improving exercise capacity and symptoms. MYQORZO was previously approved in the U.S. and China, and this European launch marks the start of broader availability in the region. This new treatment option offers hope for better symptom management in oHCM patients across Europe.
