Coiled Therapeutics has appointed Professor Ozgur Sahin, a leading expert on TACC3 biology and inventor on key patents, as scientific advisor for its cancer drug AO-252. AO-252 is a novel oral drug targeting TACC3, often overexpressed in aggressive solid tumors, currently in Phase I trials in the US. Sahin will help guide the drug's development through dose expansion, new formulations, and combination therapy protocols planned for 2026.
