CME Group announced it will launch futures contracts for Avalanche (AVAX) and Sui tokens in early May, aiming to broaden its regulated cryptocurrency offerings. The new contracts include both standard and micro sizes to cater to institutional and smaller traders, with Avalanche futures covering 5,000 and 500 tokens respectively, and Sui futures covering 50,000 and 5,000 tokens. This move aligns with CME's strategy to meet growing demand for transparent, regulated crypto trading and follows a 19% increase in crypto derivatives volume on its platform. Additionally, CME will enable 24/7 trading for its crypto futures and options starting May 29, matching the continuous nature of crypto markets.
