A Phase 1 study presented at ASCO 2026 found that LYMPHIR (denileukin diftitox-cxdl) combined with pembrolizumab showed promising durable responses and manageable safety in heavily pre-treated patients with recurrent or refractory gynecologic cancers. Nearly half of evaluable patients achieved clinical benefit, with a median progression-free survival of 20.5 months among responders. The combination showed a 33% response rate in patients with endometrial cancer previously treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors. These encouraging results support further clinical trials to explore this chemo-free immunotherapy approach for tumors resistant to current treatments.
