United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby stated that he does not anticipate further airline mergers in the U.S. following American Airlines' rejection of a potential merger earlier this year. Kirby emphasized that United will not pursue deals that lack economic sense and dismissed the idea of merging with its partner JetBlue Airways. Similarly, Delta Air Lines also does not foresee mergers, focusing instead on international partnerships and joint ventures to compete globally.
