Carnival Corporation has completed an extension of its Celebration Key pier on Grand Bahama Island, adding two new berths to accommodate up to four ships simultaneously. This expansion doubles the arrival capacity, allowing over 13,000 guests daily and enabling about 200 more ship calls and 700,000 additional guest arrivals annually. The move supports Carnival's Caribbean strategy and is expected to create over 2,500 Bahamian jobs and generate significant economic benefits. Starting September 2026, multiple cruise lines will use Celebration Key, enhancing its role as a key Caribbean destination.
