BD's Liverty™ TIPS Stent Graft gains CE Mark, advancing treatment for portal hypertension in the EU.

BD announced CE Mark approval for its Liverty™ TIPS Stent Graft, a next-generation device designed to treat portal hypertension complications in patients with cirrhosis. The device features an adjustable diameter and advanced delivery system to personalize treatment and improve outcomes. Safety and effectiveness data from the global ARCH clinical trial will be presented at the Society of Interventional Radiology meeting in April 2026. This innovation aims to expand treatment options for the 58 million people worldwide affected by cirrhosis and related portal hypertension complications.
