BD launches advanced medication dispensing system and AI platform in Europe to boost hospital efficiency.

BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) has introduced its BD® Pyxis™ Pro Dispensing Solution and BD® Incada™ Connected Care Platform in Europe. These technologies use automation and AI to improve medication management, enhance safety, and increase efficiency in hospitals by providing secure, traceable medication storage and real-time inventory insights. The Pyxis™ Pro offers flexible storage with enhanced security features, while the Incada™ platform delivers AI-powered analytics for better medication availability and waste reduction. BD plans a phased rollout across Europe with multi-language support and uses AWS European Sovereign Cloud to meet data sovereignty requirements. This launch aims to modernize medication workflows and help clinicians focus more on patient care.
