BD introduced the Elyra™ Thulium Fiber Laser (TFL) System, designed to enhance efficiency and versatility in urology, particularly for kidney stone management and soft tissue procedures. The system uses advanced Thulium Fiber Laser technology to improve stone dusting and reduce stone migration, featuring a quieter, air-cooled design and customizable settings for streamlined workflows. Available in two models, Elyra™ and Elyra™ Plus, it supports clinicians with an intuitive interface and wireless footswitch option. This launch expands BD's kidney stone care portfolio and aims to improve procedural outcomes and adaptability in urologic care.
