Aurwest Resources has entered an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Porter Lake uranium project, a 10,490-hectare property in the Athabasca Basin, a leading uranium district in Canada. The deal requires Aurwest to spend $1.515 million on exploration over two years and make equity payments, with the project showing promising historical high-grade uranium mineralization at multiple targets. This acquisition aligns with growing global demand for nuclear energy and uranium as a clean energy source. Aurwest plans further exploration including geophysical surveys to define uranium deposits and support future drilling, pending regulatory approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange.
