Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp has signed a non-binding agreement with China’s Xi’an Lanshen New Material Technology to advance the Rincon West Lithium Brine Project in Argentina. Lanshen could earn up to a 30% stake by investing up to $100 million in phases tied to project milestones, including pilot testing, engineering, and commercial-scale plant construction. The project aims to produce 5,000 tonnes per year of battery-grade lithium carbonate, with development contingent on approvals and financing. This deal marks a significant step toward commercializing lithium resources in Argentina's Lithium Triangle region.
