Aquanta Vision secured pre-seed funding from investors including EIC Rose Rock and Chevron Technology Ventures to advance its optical gas imaging (OGI) software that automates methane leak detection during inspections. This technology improves detection accuracy without new hardware by adding an automated layer to existing OGI cameras used in the oil and gas industry. The software runs locally and provides real-time plume visualization for drone, fixed, and handheld cameras, aiming to reduce undetected methane leaks and enhance operational safety.
