This marks the third consecutive year Appia has received this funding, supporting its critical mineral exploration in the province. The grant will fund a 2026 diamond drilling program aimed at testing high-priority rare earth element targets, crucial for modern electronics and clean energy technologies. The Alces Lake project is notable for its high-grade rare earth and gallium mineralization and is fully owned by Appia in northern Saskatchewan.
