Alteogen has signed an exclusive license agreement with Biogen, granting Biogen rights to develop and commercialize subcutaneous formulations of two biologic products using Alteogen's ALT-B4 technology. Biogen will pay $20 million upfront and may pay an additional $10 million upon starting development of the second product, plus up to $549 million in milestone payments. Alteogen will also receive royalties on net sales. This partnership leverages Alteogen's Hybrozyme™ platform to convert intravenous biologics into more convenient subcutaneous forms, potentially improving patient treatment options.
