Algorand Foundation hires key cryptography experts and reforms ARC governance process

Algorand Foundation has strengthened its technical team by hiring five key members from Algorand Technologies, including Chris Peikert as Chief Scientific Officer, who brings expertise in post-quantum cryptography. The Foundation also restructured its Algorand Request for Comments (ARC) governance process to improve proposal quality and adoption tracking, introducing a mandatory Pre-ARC discussion phase and a new ARC Kit CLI tool. These changes aim to unify protocol engineering and ecosystem governance, enhancing the Foundation's role in global blockchain development and financial empowerment.
