About Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk.

PT Lippo Securities Tbk (the Parent Company) was established on June 20, 1989 based on notarial deed No.514 of Misahardi Wilamarta, S.H. The deed of establishment was approved by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia (MOJ) in its decision letter No.C2-6029.HT.01.01TH.89 dated July 6, 1989, and was published in the State of Gazette No.80 Supplement No. 3904 dated October 5, 1990. Its articles of association has been amended several times, most recently by notarial deed No.113 of Ny. Poerbaningsih Asi Warsito, S.H., dated July 30,1999, concerning among others, the adjustments to effect the Regulation No.IX.D.I. On December 20, 1999, the Parent Company submitted a letter to the Chief of the Capital Market Supervisory Board requesting for the revocation of its business license as broker, in connection with the merger of its brokering activities with PT Ciptadana Sekuritas, a subsidiary. This request was approved by the Chief of the Capital Market Supervisory Board based on its decision letter No. 01/PM/2000 dated January 5, 2000.In view of the foregoing, PT Bursa Efek Jakarta in its letter No.S.024/BEJ.ANG/01-2000 dated January 12, 2000 and PT Bursa Efek Surabaya in its letter No. T1-003/AGT/BES/I/2000 dated January 1, 2000, cancelled their Approval Letter on Stock Exchange Membership (Surat Persetujuan Anggota Bursa) issued to the Parent Company effective January 13, 2000 and January 4, 2000, respectively. Accordingly, the Parent Company is required to sell its investments in shares of stock of PT Bursa Efek Jakarta and PT Bursa Efek Surabaya.
