The Company is the only company that was granted by the relevant manufacturers in the distribution and marketing in Indonesia, for valve products from leading manufacturers in the world with brands Arita from Malaysia, RK Marine from China, and KVC from Japan.

Igar Jaya was founded in October 1975 in the Republic of Indonesia as a joint venture with Owens-Illinois, a leading glass container manufacturer in the United States, initially in the production of glass vial and ampoules to support Indonesia’s pharmaceutical industry. However since 1987, due to customer demand, the Company has expanded to the business of plastic, aluminum foil (flexible packaging) and paper folding carton packaging products as well as disposable syringe not only to meet the needs of Indonesia’s pharmaceutical industry but also its cosmetic and food industries. In 1988, the Company relinquished its joint venture status with a view to entering the global market and today has customers in 14 countries outside Indonesia.
