On December 20, 1999, the Parent Company submitted a letter to the Chief of the Capital Market Supervisory Board requesting for the revocation of its business license as broker, in connection with the merger of its brokering activities with PT Ciptadana Sekuritas, a subsidiary. This request was approved by the Chief of the Capital Market Supervisory Board based on its decision letter No. 01/PM/2000 dated January 5, 2000.In view of the foregoing, PT Bursa Efek Jakarta in its letter No.S.024/BEJ.ANG/01-2000 dated January 12, 2000 and PT Bursa Efek Surabaya in its letter No. T1-003/AGT/BES/I/2000 dated January 1, 2000, cancelled their Approval Letter on Stock Exchange Membership (Surat Persetujuan Anggota Bursa) issued to the Parent Company effective January 13, 2000 and January 4, 2000, respectively. Accordingly, the Parent Company is required to sell its investments in shares of stock of PT Bursa Efek Jakarta and PT Bursa Efek Surabaya.
