Read more on AMIN →PT Citra Tubindo Tbk (the Company) was established on August 23rd, 1983, on Batam Island under the rules of the Domestic Capital Investment (PMDN) the main activities of the Company are seamless pipe processing, end finishing of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and fabricating accessories for the Oil and Gas Industry. The Threading and End Finishing plant commenced commercial operation in 1984 and received American Petroleum Institute (API) in the same year. In 1986 the Company installed and put into operation a precision electro-plating plant which also passed the stringent requirements of MEPSI (Mobil Exploration and Production Services Inc.) standards. The Company has also built an assembly line for Drilltec Protectors, to reduce the dependency on overseas supplies. The products of the Company are distributed among domestic and international oil and gas contractors operating in Indonesia, and increasingly exported to contractors working in countries such as Malaysia, India, Vietnam, the Middle East, Japan Canada, Australia, Venezuela and the Philippines.
