Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk (The Company) was established within the foreign capital investment framework of Law No. 1 of 1967 and Law No. 11 of 1970, by deed of notary public Koerniatini Karim dated 7 October 1971 No. 4, as amended by deed of the same notary dated 6 January 1972 No. 9; these deeds were approved by the Minister of Justice under No. J.A.5/5/19 dated 17 January 1972. The Company is a joint venture between Asahi Glass of Japan and the Rodamas Group of Indonesia. Asahi Glass is one of the leading glass producers in the world.
